The Farm:
This is our darkest roast, taken just into the second crack to create a bold, smoky cup with real intensity. Despite its strength, it still reveals intriguing notes of red berries and chocolate.
Sourced from the Permata Gayo co-operative, founded in 2006, this coffee is produced with full traceability at its core. The co-operative oversees every stage of production and sorting, ensuring exceptional consistency and quality.
It is processed using Indonesia’s distinctive Giling Basah method, where the coffee is dried at three different humidity levels as it travels down the mountain. This unique process results in green beans with a subtle blue hue and contributes to the coffee’s deep, complex character.
A bold, full-bodied coffee with deep earthy richness, low acidity, and a lingering cocoa finish.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)-inspired thinking, coffee is viewed through an energy lens associated with warming and grounding characteristics, influenced by roast intensity and body.
This dark roast expresses a deeper, more structured profile, traditionally enjoyed for a sense of stability, focus, and strong morning presence.
